Not only does God hold us by the hand, but He also holds us in His hand! John 10:27-29 says: “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.”
I feel, once again, that we need to have a true revelation of what that means… to be held in the hand of God. If we are indeed held in His hand, we can be sure that He will not let go of us!
Here’s part of a song by Matt Redman called “You Never Let Go”:
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I’m caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won’t turn back
I know you are near
And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me”
Let Him hold your hand! Know that you’re in His hand! God bless you!
