Day 7 of 30

God Watches Over Us

Scripture reading

Psalm 121:7–8 (NLT)

7 The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

As parents, there are times when we need someone to watch over our children. We want someone we can trust—someone who will pay attention to their needs and keep them safe. It brings us peace to know that our children are in good hands.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that the God of the universe is watching over us, His children? He knows us. He loves us. We are never out of His sight.

God watches over us, and nothing catches Him by surprise. He doesn’t panic. When we don’t know what to do, we can turn to Him and trust His care.

We need to stop and think about that for a moment. The God of the universe is watching over us!

God bless you today.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for watching over me. Nothing in my life catches You by surprise. When I feel anxious, help me to remember Your care and rest in Your peace. Help me to trust You as I go through this day. Amen.
