This page covers the 135 Main Community Church app on phones and on the web, published by Living Waters Ministries Inc., the ministry behind the church.
What we collect and why
Your name, email address and how you sign in; your household’s contact details, birthdays, genders and family members, added by you or the church office; your attendance, teams, giving, photos and messages; and the office’s care notes, notes and files. We use them to keep in touch and care for one another. When you use the assistant, what you type and the church records it reads to answer go to an AI service. Check-in uses the same service to match names.
Children
Parents or the church office may add children to a household. Their names are seen by their household, the office, and the volunteers who need them, such as check-in helpers and their team’s leaders. The app never emails a child and is not meant for children to use.
Who can see it
You see your own household. The church office sees everyone’s. Volunteers see what their role needs: a team’s leaders see its members’ contact details, check-in helpers see names, and care helpers see the people they follow up with. Photos the church chooses to share may appear on the church’s Facebook page. The services that host the app, send email and power the assistant handle information for us and may not use it for anything else. An app you connect, such as an AI assistant, sees only what you allow.
What we never do
No ads, no selling your information, no tracking you across other apps or sites.
How long we keep it
Notices are deleted after 90 days and messages after 13 months. Giving records are kept for tax receipts. Other records, including assistant chats and the history of changes, have no set end date; ask us to remove what you no longer want kept.
Your choices
See and correct your household, photos and notifications in the app, and see your giving. For a copy of your information, or to have it deleted, email the church office.
